Welcome to our Pregnancy & Parenting page!
As a mother of two, soon to be three, children I know first hand that there is always more to learn and that the most important thing that we need is support from others and finding our “mom tribe”. With most of our readers being parents, I thought adding a pregnancy and parenting page to the blog would really help some of you out! I asked on my personal Facebook and the Admirably Diverse Facebook page for links to everyone’s favorite websites and fb pages/groups to get advice, decide what is best for your child, gain more knowledge, etc. This is going to be a work in progress, so if you have something great to add to this list, please comment below!
Pregnancy
I am a csection mom. I had a csection with my first because my OB felt more comfortable delivering him that way considering his birth defect. With my second, I had a repeat csection because I moved to an area that is not VBAC friendly, which really really sucked. With baby #3 I am 100% getting my VBA2C. I will be traveling to another city if I have to. So, with being a csection mom wanting a VBA2C, I follow a lot of different pages and am a part of a lot of different groups for VBAC and csection support. But with some groups, you have to see what is local to you. I won’t be listing my local groups, so if you’re from GA or TX and looking for a specific kind of group, send me a message and I may be able to help!
